Westside Policies

Appointments

Appointments are desired and strongly encouraged. Those without appointments (walk-ins) are welcome but are worked in between scheduled appointments. We make every effort to see each client on schedule, at the same time allowing adequate time for the visit. Scheduled appointments take precedence over walk-ins, except in the case of emergencies.

Appointments may be requested online. Online appointment requests are not valid until confirmed by one of our staff.

Admission & Dismissal

Patients are admitted by a veterinarian or technician. At dismissal, the discharging veterinarian or technician will provide any instructions, medications, etc. pertinent to your pet's needs. Boarding admission and dismissal are during office hours only, except for emergency cituations.

Progress Reports

We ask that you call for progress updates after 10:00am. This allows time for morning rounds and treatments of hospitalized patients. If some situation warrants immediate consultation, we will make every effort to contact you immediately.

Military Families

To better serve new military families moving to the Altus area, we open our doors after hours for their boarding needs. Please call our office for reservations.

We give military personnel a 15% discount on boarding of their pets if deployed due to the war on terror.
